Dry Freight and Reefer on One Line | Heavy-Duty Slat Conveyor + Electric Hoist + 4-Axis Fastening + Leak Test | 8~12 min/unit
The key difference for a box truck is the superstructure: the cargo box is lifted onto the chassis. Overall length options: 4.2m, 5.2m, or 6.2m. Cargo box weight ranges from 300 to 800kg, requiring a hoist.
An electric hoist lifts the box with an anti-sway mechanism. Once positioned on the chassis, a 4-axis simultaneous fastener tightens all connecting bolts. Synchronization is controlled within ±3%, ensuring uniform clamp load. The number of bolts (typically 8 to 12) determines station length. Fastening time: approximately 40 seconds.
Reefer variants add insulation and a refrigeration unit. Insulation panel joints are heat-bonded, achieving joint strength ≥80% of base material. The refrigeration unit is followed by refrigerant charging and leak detection. A leak test sets a threshold leakage rate — exceeding it indicates a seal or weld defect, and the unit is automatically tagged for rework.
Both dry freight and reefer configurations are compatible. When not producing reefers, the line runs standard dry boxes, keeping utilization high year-round.
Technical Specifications
Applicable Models: Dry freight & reefer box trucks — cargo box lengths 4.2m, 5.2m, 6.2m; cargo box weight 300–800kg; compatible with both standard dry freight and refrigerated (reefer) superstructure configurations; convertible between the two without line reconfiguration.
Line Layout: Heavy-duty slat conveyor with electric hoist station for cargo box lifting; 4-axis simultaneous fastener station for chassis-to-box connection bolts; separate reefer variant add-on stations for insulation panel installation, refrigeration unit mounting, refrigerant charging, and leak detection.
Core Equipment: Electric hoist with anti-sway mechanism for stable cargo box lifting; 4-axis simultaneous fastener (synchronisation within ±3%, ~40 seconds fastening time for 8–12 bolts); heat-bonding equipment for insulation panel joints (joint strength ≥80% of base material); refrigerant charging and leak detection station; cargo box dimensional inspection station.
Key Technical Features: Anti-sway hoist prevents cargo box swinging during lift — critical for safe alignment onto chassis. 4-axis simultaneous fastener ensures uniform clamp load across all connection bolts (8–12 bolts, synchronisation within ±3%). Reefer variant adds insulation panel heat bonding (joint strength ≥80% of base material) and refrigerant leak detection. Dry freight and reefer production changeable without line reconfiguration — when not producing reefers, the line continues running standard dry boxes for full-year utilisation. Thermal insulation performance per QC/T 450.
Production Metrics: Cycle time 8–12 minutes per unit; bolt fastening time ~40 seconds; reefer/dry freight changeover without line reconfiguration; insulation panel joint strength ≥80% of base material; refrigeration system leak detection threshold configurable; standard bolt configuration 8–12 bolts per cargo box.
